Ex-U Vernon Makes SPL Move

Ex-U Vernon Makes SPL Move

Scott Vernon today sealed a move to Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen.

The former Colchester United man was released from the Weston Homes Community Stadium last month. Vernon, who spent two spells in North Essex with the U's, failed to nail down a regular spot. This was mainly due to a number of managerial changes, along with tactical changes too.

Vernon, 26, was given a trial by the Dons, and impressed the management team enough to earn a full-time contract.

Vital Colchester would like to wish Scott the best of luck in his Dons' career.
