'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I RESIGN! - NO YOU DON'T!!!

Since achieving the seemingly unachievable and getting us out of League One last season despite a limited budget and consequently he has been linked with a host of jobs this summer. Most links were rubbish, but this IS football...

Charlton were denied permission to speak to him before they appointed Iain Dowie as manager, while 'orrible Ipswich and Burleyless Derby both received knockbacks from the board.

Clearly he's now off.

A statement on the club`s official website read: `Following the manager tendering his resignation this afternoon, the club have refused to accept his resignation.

`He is under contract for another year and we have asked him to discuss matters with us further on his return from holiday in a week.

`Should we be unable to prevent Mr Parkinson from resigning, we would like to remind everyone that the club is currently in an extremely strong position and the board will continue with their efforts to do whatever is necessary to protect the interests and future of the club.'

The 'MR' Parkinson says it all.

They love is gone and it would seem he slipped the family photo off his desk and into his coat pocket last time he was in the office.

More when some facts emerge!

Stop being stupid and let him talk to Hull City!!

I don't think it's wise to try and force someone to stay.

No good keeping a manager that wants off. Get some money for him and move on quickly.
FEn_100
He opbviously wants to go no point trying to force someone to stay if they are unhappy.
red_gilly
mind you I would be unhappy if I had Curo in my team!
red_gilly
Yeah he probably has seen the error of signing the 'poison dwarf'
APG_STFC
