What will 2011/12 bring for Colchester?

This time next week the opening weekend of the league one season will be done and dusted, we will know how Colchester fared against Preston (a).

It goes without saying that Colchester fans will be looking for this to be a positive result but what sort of season do people hope for, if not expect, from the club during the 2011/12 season?

Is a title bid, or push for automatic promotion in your thoughts?

Perhaps a play-off berth is a more realistic aim?

Too high still, would finishing in the top half, but out of the promotion places be something you are happy with?

Then again midtable might be more what you would be thinking?

A bottom half of the table could be something that you think is more likely?

Flirting with relegation but avoiding this may well be a more than acceptable thing?

Surely not, expecting relegation cannot be on your mind?

As said, what exactly is it that you hope for or expect from Colchester this season - let us know by signing in, or joining up to Vital Colchester for the first time, and then leave some thought below.

Also, make sure to cast your vote on the poll on this issue to your right!
