Wycombe 3-3 Colchester (5-4 on pens)
Colchester's Carling Cup adventure is over for another year after a 1st round exit to league one rivals Wycombe on penalties.
Wycombe got off to the best possible start with early goals from Donnelly (2) and Grant (12) seeing them race into a 2-0 lead, although Colchester were level by half time through Odejayi (27) and Henderson (41).

Gillespie's (98) penalty looked to have completed a remarkable turnaround for The U's although at the end of the 1st half of extra time Beavon (105) levelled the scores at 3-3!
3-3 in how it ended so a penalty shootout would decide the outcome...
When Rose, who has magic toes, stepped up at the scores tied at 4-4 his effort was saved leaving Harding to score and secure a 5-4 penalty shootout win for Wycombe.
These sides will meet again at the weekend, with points at stake in league one...
