Colchester bring in Aldred

Tom Aldred has joined Colchester following his release by Watford.

Defender Aldred had joined Inverness for a 6-month loan spell but left just 4 games into this and was released by his parent club Watford a little over a year after joining the championship side from Carlisle.

The 20-year-old will add further defensive options for John Ward, and is very well known to this level.
