I asked Vital Tyke to answer a few questions previous to this weekends big match, he kindly Obliged.
1. How do you rate your chances on Saturday at Layer Road?
We're going into this game on the back of two good performances and we do tend to play well away from home. Having said that it's a fair way to travel down to Essex and they've played two games in the last seven days so they may be suffering. We may just edge it but it will be another close one.
2. Where do you think our respective teams will finish come May?
Barnsley will stay up, I'm confident of that. I think we'll finish around 18th and Colchester will finish just below us in 19th. Sheffield Wednesday will be relegated.
3. Who do you think will win the Championship and why?
Birmingham City, they've got ambition and a good squad. My tip for the play-offs is Coventry City.
4. Who do you rate as your star man, and why should we be aware of him?
In the first two games a few players have stood out for me. Michael McIndoe is a good winger and could provide problems for your defence. Paul Hayes has played well and will have gained confidence from getting a goal on Tuesday night. But Brian Howard has really shone, his goal against Cardiff on the opening day was pure class and he has been very creative in midfield. You may remember him from our last meeting when he scored in the 72nd minute from a Martin Devaney cross.
5. Out of the Colchester players that you know, who do you think will cause you the most problems?
Jamie Cureton, our defence looks shaky at times and Cureton could capitalise on that to get on the score sheet.
Thanks to Vital Tyke for taking his time to answer my questions and I wish him and his fellow supporters a safe Journey down.
