John Ward recently denied speculation that Ipswich were interested in Magnus Okuonghae, and denied an offer had been made.
No offer might have come in for the defender although sky sports reports that a host of clubs are 'keeping tabs on his situation,' this being the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave for nothing.
Colchester's league one rivals, and current league leaders, Charlton are one of those interested in the 25-year-old with championship sides Burnley, Palace and Millwall others believed to be interested?
An outside bet is a move to the premier league with Norwich, managed by his former manager Paul Lambert, also mentioned.
