Non-league keeper interest

Ryan Bedingfield is a non-league goalkeeper that could, according to The East Anglian Daily Times, soon make the step-up to football league level.

22-year-old Bedingfield player for Brantham Athletic but is interesting Colchester and Ipswich with a move possible on in the summer?

He knows of this interest and would, as you'd expect, 'jump at the chance' should it come along: 'I am only young, but it is good to have people watching you and it is good for your confidence.

'I would jump at the chance to turn professional if it ever came my way. I am aiming to improve every year I play, especially more mentally, which is so important for a goalkeeper.'

Bedingfield played for Brantham for the first time as a nine-year-old and is now in his third spell with the club.

The U's could be looking for a new keeper themselves come the summer as well?
