Result: Yeovil 3-2 Colchester

Having held the lead Colchester surrendered this to eventually lose by the odd goal in five at Yeovil on Saturday.

Steven Gillespie's (19) goalscoring form of late continued with him giving Colchester the lead, which was taken into the break.

Yeovil were level soon after the interval though when Dean Parrett (55) scored. Two goals in as many minutes from Lawson D'Ath (70) and Andy Williams (72) then saw Yeovil take control of the game.

Kieran Agard (88) saw red late on for the hosts before Martin Rowlands (90+3) struck deep into injury-time to reduce the deficit but it was not enough with The U's going down 3-2.
