Bender returns to Colchester

Tom Bender has returned to Colchester, with John Ward bringing him back from his loan spell with Accrington.

19-year-old Bender has been limited with his first-team appearances due to injury with Ward, as he told the official website, deciding that deciding that he would be better off back with The U's: 'we've recalled Tom to get him back to fitness and play games for us.'

The defender had only featured four times for Accrington.
