Sears extends Colchester stay
Freddie Sears will remain with Colchester until the end of the season after extending his initial one-month spell.
22-year-old Sears has currently made four appearances for The U's since arriving from West Ham and will stay with the club until the season ends.
John Ward will be hoping that the striker can help force Colchester into a play-off spot, with the club currently seven points adrift of this.
