Result: Bury 4-1 Colchester
Colchester were well and truly beaten at struggling Bury on Easter Monday.
With a first half destined to be goalless two strikes in the final five-minutes of the half from Mike Grella (40) and Shaun Harrad (43) meant that Bury went into the break two goals to the good.
That lead was extended first by Giles Coke (56) early in the second half. Colchester instantly hit back through Tom Eastman (57) to give them some hope but David Worrall (73) extinguished this with a little over 15-minutes to play meaning The U's lost 4-1.
