'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tom targeting regular place

He might have featured in more than 30 games for Colchester this season but Tom Eastman is looking for even more next season.

Eastman, as he told The Gazette, is 'enjoying playing games' but wants to push on next season and play 'every week' if he can: 'I'm enjoying playing games and I've had a good run in the team.

'I hope I can push on next season and I think I'm capable of playing more games next season, where I'm playing every week.

'It's a big opportunity for me next season to come in and prove that I can play week in, week out.'

In total, so far, the 20-year-old defender has made 31 appearances for The U's this season and he scored in the weekend draw with Bournemouth.
