Izzet relaxed about his future
Kem Izzet is one of the players out of contract with Colchester this summer but he is under little doubt that he will soon sign a new contract.
Izzet, as he told The Gazette, believes it is 'just a matter of time' before a new deal is signed: 'there's no real rush and everyone knows that me signing a new contract is just a matter of time really.
'It's a case of trying to get the best deal for both myself and the club.
'I don't expect there to be any problems and I think it'll be signed in the next week to 10 days.'
The midfielder has been with The U's for a decade and will have his testimonial this weekend.
