Unbeaten sides meet

Tranmere v Colchester

A stern test awaits The U's this weekend as they travel to Prenton Park to face the unbeaten Tranmere Rovers, although Colchester are also unbeaten.

With John-Joe O'Toole passed fit Colchester have a "fully fit squad" to select from, as a result it's more than possible that John Ward might decide to keep faith with the XI that started the draw against Sheffield United last Saturday.

Tranmere could be missing Ash Taylor (thigh injury) so Michael Kay is on call to step into the breach. Mark McChrystal is closing in on a return but isn't quite ready yet so misses out along with Ian Goodison (knee) and Paul Black.

Abdulai Bell Baggie could force his way into the starting line-up though.
