U's blow two-goal lead

Shrewsbury 2-2 Colchester
27th October 2012
15:00
Greenhous Meadow

Colchester let a two-goal lead slip at Shrewsbury on Saturday afternoon, eventually having to settle for a point.

Craig Eastmond's (3) early goal put Colchester ahead, with that goal taking the hosts into the break one-nil up.

Another Arsenal loanee, Sanchez Watt (62), extended The U's lead just after the hour with it looking go for the visitors to collect yet another win under new boss Joe Dunne.

Shrewsbury had other ideas though as a late quick fire double from Asa Hall (79 & 82) saw the home side fight back to see the game end in a 2-2 draw.
