Long-term injury blow for Watt

Long-term injury blow for Watt

Sanchez Watt, who has seen his loan spell from Arsenal cut short by injury, is facing months as opposed to weeks on the sidelines.

The winger arrived on a three-month loan six-weeks ago but a hamstring injury in the FA Cup defeat recently has left him sidelined.

His "very badly" torn hamstring required an operation and this will keep him out for a few months, which is a blow to Colchester, Arsenal and of course the player himself.

Once fit it remains unclear if Watt will return to The U's on loan again?
