Still waiting for U's

Still waiting for U's

Kem Izzet was left kicking his heels this week as his anticipated return was delayed by the elements.

The Colchester captain, who has been out since September, was meant to return for the U21 side against Charlton at the start of this week but a waterlogged pitch prevent this.

Everything possible, as U's boss Joe Dunne told the official website, was done to try and get this game to go ahead but it just wasn't possible so Izzet's return to playing action (he returned to training in November) is on hold.
