Colchester suffered a third successive defeat, and a fifth in six, when they lost at home against Oldham on Saturday afternoon.

Jean-Yves Mvoto's (33) header just past the half hour mark gave Oldham a lead, which was taken into the break.

It wasn't Colchester's day, and this was proven on the hour when an effort partially saved went in off Brian Wilson (61), via a post, to secure Oldham a 2-0 win.
