Colchester to sign Pompey duo
Josh Thompson has been on loan with Colchester and now the Portsmouth man is expected to join The U's permanently along with one of his Pompey teammates.
Thompson's loan will soon end, as will his contract with Pompey and they aren't going to renew this so a permanent stay at The Weston Homes Community Stadium should happen in the new year.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne has also revealed that Jack Compton is someone he'll be signing when the transfer window reopens in January. The Portsmouth winger has been out of favour at Fratton Park recently, and like Thompson will soon become a free agent.
