Jabo Set To Return

Former U's loanee Jabo Ibehre, whose temporary time with the club came to an end just prior to the New Year, looks set for a full-time return to bolster Joe Dunne's attacking options.

With a permanent deal always looking likely to be on the cards, it was revealed a while ago that the U's had offered Jabo a deal to return but that the forward was waiting for the abdominal injury he sustained at Walsall to pass him by.

However, Joe Dunne has said to the East Anglian Daily Times that a familiar face, understood to be Jabo, is set to return.

"I`m 99% sure I`ve brought an experienced powerful player to the club this weekend, which will make us stronger in the spine of the team,' confirmed Dunne.

"He`s known to you, and been here.'

Jabo netted four times in his loan spell with the U's but has found himself further down the pecking order at MK Dons since the arrival of Izale McLeod from Portsmouth.
