Joe Dunne has opted for three central midfielders this afternoon as opposed to bringing in either of the new loan signings for a full debut up front following the suspension of Jabo Ibehre.
Much speculation was abound as to who would partner Morrison, but instead David Wright joins in the midfield alongside Andy Bond and Billy Clifford, albeit one of those two may push further forward.
Clinton Morrison leads the attack on his own with both George Porter and Gavin Massey on either flank, whilst loan signing Bradley Garmston misses out through a knee injury.
John White takes Garmston's spot at left back, although with a maximum of five loan signings in any given matchday squad it was inevitable that someone from Sam Walker, Garmston, Clifford, Porter, Troy Hewitt and Michael Smith would have to miss out.
Both Smith and Hewitt take their place on the bench.
Kem Izzet misses out from a place on the bench as he nears a return to fitness, whilst Freddie Ladapo retains his place on the bench following another appearance on Tuesday night.
U's: Walker, Wilson, White, Okuonghae, Eastman, David Wright, Clifford, Bond, Porter, Massey, Morrison
Subs: Cousins, Thompson, Bean, Compton, Ladapo, Hewitt, Smith
