'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Supporting A Worthy Cause
Colchester United players have shown their support for the Teenage Cancer Trust by having their heads shaved for the Charity before the Home Derby with Southend United recently.
The players decided to raise the money to pay for a holiday for Colchester fan Emily Begg who was suffering from Leukaemia; unfortunately Emily lost her battle with the disease and sadly died some days before the Southend game.
However the players decided that they would donate any monies received to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Further fund raising events including auctions will be held in the near future, Vital Colchester fully support the cause and have donated a signed shirt to the CUFC media department to be entered for auction.
