Davison Signs New Deal

Davison Signs New Deal

38-year-old Davison admitted that playing football was just too hard to give up and he has agreed to new a deal to remain at Layer Road in both a playing and coaching capacity.

'I've been retiring for about five years now!' Davison told the club's website. 'I just feel that there's a bit of life left in me just yet and I want to keep going in the professional game.

'There were a lot of factors involved with me staying at the club, including working with the players that we have here at the moment.

'They are a very honest bunch of lads and there are not many clubs that can say that these days.'
