Hogan call-up to England Under-19 set-up

Last night`s Evening Gazette announced that Colchester United`s young loanee, Hogan Ephraim, has won another international call-up, this time in the under-19 squad for next month`s friendly against Turkey.

The 18-yaer-old attacker, already a fixture at this level, will hope to play some part in the match, which takes place on March 21st, at Doncaster Rovers` Keepmoat stadium, having netted his first goal for Colchester at Barnsley recently in the Championship.

Hogan, a product of the West Ham United youth system, is on loan from the London club until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move.
