Pugh For Col U?

Pugh For Col U?

Bury`s contact rebel Mark Pugh, a 19-year-old midfield prospect, has been linked with a move to both Colchester United and Sunderland, after he rejected a contract extension at Gigg Lane.

The player, who has made 29 appearances and found the net on five occasions this season, has upset boss Chris Casper in electing to keep his options open, apparently wanting away from the League Two side when his contract expires in the summer.

Leicester have also declared an interest, but Colchester could lead in the race for his signature, given that the U`s can guarantee him first-team football.

The former Burnley midfielder has been with Bury for just under a year, and Casper is uhappy with his recent decision to reject a two-and-a-half year contract.
