Kinsella Coming Home?

Last night`s Evening Gazette predicted positive news for both Colchester United and Ipswich Town in the wake of Charlton Athletic`s relegation from the Premiership, confirmed on Monday.

The North Essex paper touted Colchester to pinch their former player of eight years Mark Kinsella, who currently works in London as Charlton`s reserve-team coach, because the Addicts will be forced to cut their wage bill drastically following the demotion.

Kinsella, named as an inductee in the Colchester United Hall of Fame on the last day of the season, told the media: "You never forget your roots."

"It`s been ten years since I left the club and they always make me feel very welcome.

To be picked in the Hall of Fame is an honour " added the 34-year old.

Meanwhile, the same paper insisted that Darren Bent, scorer of 15 goals this season in the Premiership, will leave London, thus entitling Colchester`s East Anglian counterparts Ipswich Town to a sizable sell-on-clause from any future, but apparently very imminent, deal.
