Fixtures: Blades (A) Or Will It Be?

Colchester United are scheduled to begin next season`s campaign away against Sheffield United - that`s if Brian Robson`s side are confirmed as relegated for sure.

The Blades would proved a stiff test for Colchester as the Essex side would face them for the third time in as many years, although the club are still embroiled in a battle to have their relegation over-turned in light affairs involving Carlos Tevez at West Ham.

The rest of the season`s list is confirmed as definite, with Charlton Athletic bringing back Phil Parkinson and Chris Iwelumo to Layer Road in early September.

With Southend relegated the nearest local derby will be fought out with Ipswich, first away in October.

The U`s also have two home fixtures during the Christmas period and will finish in May with a visit to the newly-promoted League One Champions, Scunthorpe United.

The full list is available on the official Colchester United website.
