Poll: Cureton Will Go…

In light of Jamie Cureton`s repeated words in the press, it has become clear in the two weeks since he made an initial transfer request that he desperately wants to leave Colchester United.

After speaking yesterday about his desire to return to his former home Norwich, Cureton has all but confirmed his plans to leave, as reflected in change in the poll results.

They were: -

Will Jamie Cureton leave Colchester in the near future following his transfer request?

Yes 65%

No 35&

Cureton has angered a number of fans by stating that a 'lack of ambition` was the reason for his request, while it represents a huge backtrack for the 31-year-old Championship top scorer, who had said in May that he would not leave the Essex side unless told to by Colchester United.

he was a great player for us, but always wanted more. Its not right for him to say one thing then totally change his mind like that. Its not a bit to wonder he angered your fans. I think its so likely that he will go

Yes, it has been really annoying. He and Iwelumo have lost all the respect they had gained in the short time since the end of last season.
