'Rio': I'm Staying At Colchester

During this summer of exits at Colchester United, Pat 'Rio` Baldwin has put a torch to gossip linking him with a move away from Layer Road, slamming idol talk as just "pie-in-the sky."

The young defender, who has formed an impressive partnership with Wayne Brown in the centre of defence over recent seasons had been lniked with a move to Championship rivals Norwich. But he said in the Colchester Evening Gazette: "I don`t know where that came from. I`m happy where I am."

How refreshing.

Some should follow his lead, the othe so called proffesionals should just shut up, it is not always everyone elses fault.

Too right! Hats off to Baldwin.

Yes..well done Baldwin. How many will follow his lead?
sandgroanun
Not many by the look of it. It's a strange situation where half the squad want to go and we're trying to rebuild at the same time.
