Yeates is Back!

Former loanee Irishman 22 year old Mark Yeates has signed today after Colchester reached agreement with Spurs for his services.

Yeates made his mark in our promotion season having been bought to the club on loan by former manager Phil Parkinson.

Yeates followed Parkinson to the Hull City last season later leaving to go out on loan to Leicester City.

Colchester fans will remember Mark from his time on loan at Layer Road, his ability to marude down the left wing frightened the hell out of opposing defenders.

This is an exciting signing and surley with the other signing of Clive Platt today deminishes the previous touted lack of ambition by those that have left for pastures new!

Finaly the Colchester faithful have something to shout about, what welcome news!
