'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Colchester Confirm King Exit

Colchester United`s young midfielder Robbie King has reached a mutual agreement with the Essex club which now means his contract has been terminated.

King will now join Heybridge Swifts, the club where he spent some time on loan last season, according to the club`s official website.

King rose up through the same youth team set up as Dean Gerken and Greg Halford, but, despite being a former skipper at that level, was unable to make the grade by pushing for first-team football at Layer Road.
