Poll: A Case For The Defence?

Users of Vital Colchester feel that manager Geriant Williams ought to strengthen the back four before the transfer window slams shut on the last day of the month.

Despite the signings of Adam Virgo from Celtic and center-half Bela Balogh, the latest poll on this site clearly put defence as a priority after nine arrivals at Layer Road since May.

The recent sale of Garry Richards to Southend may have swung the votes.

The results:

What Position Does Williams Need to Strengthen The Most?

Suggested By: StevieG ColU

Goalkeeping 6%
Defence 62%
Midfield 13%
Attack 19%

Thanks to Stevie G for that! New poll – who is the best U’s summer signing?
