Colchester United suffered their first loss of the season at Layer Road last weekend when Burnley stole all three points despite a late goal from loanee Adam Virgo.

The U`s lost out to and Andy Gray brace and vicious strike from midfielder Alan Mahon, after also clawing a goal back through Kevin Lisbie just before half time.

Final Score: Col U 2 - Burnley 3


Col U Goals: Lisbie 45, Virgo 88.

Burnley Goals: Mahon 15, Gray 29, 63 pen.
