Old Boys to Meet Again

Charlton's visit to North Essex this weekend will see Addicks Old Boy Kevin Lisbie will face for the first time the club he spent 12 years at.

Lisbie released in the summer has already scored 2 goals in 3 games for Colchester and must be looking forward to face the club who he has spent most of his career with.

This weekend will also see the return of Chris Iwelumo who scored 18 goals last season for the U's, along with former Boss Phil Parkinson who is presently assistant manager to Alan Pardrew at the Valley.

Iwelumo who moved on a free transfer in the summer citing the need for security for his family, will face the club that enabled him to 'Kick Start' his career after failing to gain matches whilst playing in Germany.

Promotion winning former boss Parkinson makes his second visit to North Essex this weekend after his shock exit last summer.

Few will forget how Parkinson celebrated Hull City's only goal as they were systematically demolished by a rampant U's side last season. Needless to say Parkinson's stay with the Tiger's ended soon after.
