'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former U's man will not celebrate

Scot Chris Iwelumo has vowed not to celebrate if he scores against his former club this afternoon. Iwelumo scored 37 goals in two years at Layer Road before moving on to Charlton, already making a mark at the Valley scoring 2 goals already this term after just 4 appearances.

He said: 'I'm looking forward to going back to Colchester.

'When the fixtures came out, that was one of the games I was looking for.

'I have a lot of friends there, inside and outside the football club, that I will see, so hopefully we will get the win and I can get a goal so that I can show my respects by not celebrating it. That would be nice.'

Well he never scored so he never had to worry about that!

Nearly though. Great goal-line stop by Doogie to prevent that!

We will see.
