Williams Unsure Over Ted Risk

Geriant Williams had conceded that he is unsure about the practicality of risking 41-year-old Teddy Sheringham during Saturday`s away game against Stoke City.

The former England forward is yet to fully overcome a persistent hamstring problem which has kept him out of the most recent matches, but could feature if passed fit before kick-off this afternoon.

It is unlikely he would start the game, given the midweek goal apiece by current in-form pairing of Clive Platt and Kevin Lisbie, but Williams told the Colchester Evening Gazette that he was undecided about whether to play him or not.

"The hamstring is getting better, but it is one of those do we, don't we?`" he said. "'We have a two-week break coming up and he would definitely be alright for the West Bromwich home game, but do we risk it up at Stoke?" Come 3pm, and all will be revealed.

Well he never played, losing 2-1 is a bit dissapointing considering we got ourselves back into it.

If Teddy says he's not fit, take his word. The man's won it all.

Strong words there, but he's right!
