Colchester United`s on-loan Mr Versatile, Adam Virgo, could be in for an attacking role as manager Geraint Williams has options to consider ahead of up and coming matches against Leicester, Plymouth and Watford.
With former Champions League winner Teddy Sheringham out suspended for three games, following his red card at Coventry, and fellow front-man Jamie Guy still returning to fitness following a hamstring injury the U`s are down to only two match-fit strikers, Kevin Lisbie and Clive Platt.
Virgo, on-loan from Scottish Champions Celtic is a centre-half by trade can also play as a forward, currently only has a place on the bench after fellow loanee Matthew Connelly displaced him in the centre of the U`s defence.
The televised visit of Leicester City on Saturday, which is the first game ahead of a big week for the U`s, may now prompt Williams to use the former Brighton trainee as an attacking option, with Colchester`s strike-force a looking little light-weight.
The 24-year-old joined Colchester on a six-month loan deal in the close season; he has scored once so far for the Layer Road side, that coming when playing as a front man.
So, if Adam is selected at the weekend, the question becomes: will Adam Virgo be trying to score the goals, or trying to stop them?
