'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Duguid: We`ll Stick At It

Colchester United skipper Karl Duguid has vowed over the past seven days that the committed players at the club will do all they can to help the side shoot up the Championship table.

The 29-year-old captain told the Evening Gazette last week: "Little things aren't going for us but that's football.

"We've said in the dressing room after the game that we'll keep going," he added, after the recent one-all draw against Plymouth.

'We're doing the right things and we'll continue to do that because I'm sure that everything evens itself out over the course of the season.

'We still have that spirit in the squad which was very important to us last season and it will be very important to us again.'
