Yeates: U`s Aim Is Top Half

Colchester United`s Mark Yeates has recently insisted in the EADT that the U`s can finish the season in a stronger position and at the right end of the league.

With a quarter of the season gone, and the U`s sitting just about the danger regions of the relegation places, it seems that the U`s merely need confidence to improve.

Yeates, the club`s top scorer this season, said: "We`re scoring loads of goals, but we know that we're conceding too many."

"We've had a meeting about that. All the lads know that we need to shore up things, and it's not just down to the back four.

It's the whole team.

"I think that once we've ironed out this problem, we will start climbing the table. I think we are good enough for a top-half-of-the-table finish," Yeates concluded in the news article.
