Internationals A Boost For Boss

Colchester United's Geraint Williams
feels the international experience picked up by a handful of his players recently could prove vital in the Championship.

The U`s play host to Crystal Palace this weekend with Matt Connolly (England U21), Medy Elito (England U18), Bela Balo(Hungary) and Mark Yeates (Republic of Ireland B)having been away with thier respective squads.

All retrned from international duty unscathed ahead of the U`s key Coke Cola Championship clash with Crystal Palace tommorrow and Williams highlighted that it will provide a big boost for whole team.

"We have lads coming back from international duty who should have a bounce in their step and will be looking forward to playing,' Williams told the Evening Gazzette.

'We`ve had time to work on individual things and we`ve had a lot of time to study our next opponents so hopefully we will be as prepared as we can for tomorrow and get the three points.'
