U's Williams on Derby County List

Derby County could be ready to make Geraint Williams their new manager.

The Premiership side are without a manager after sacking Billy Davis and old-boy Williams is said by the Daily Mirror to in line to replace him.

Paul Ince and Paul Jewell are also said to be on the list, but Williams would probably find it impossible to decline the offer of a chance to manage the club where he was a professional hero and stalwart in midfield during his playing days.
