U's Draw Posh Home Tie

Colchester have drawn a home tie against League Two Peterborough in the FA Cup third round.

The match will take place at Home Park on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of January 2008 where the U`s will be hoping to progress beyond this stage and banish memories of last season`s defeat to Barnet.

Memorably, the club`s biggest scalp in the world`s oldest knock-out competition was to beat Leeds in 1971 and during 2005/6 Colchester faced Premier League Championship Chelsea.

Happy with that, if we win! Else, a bigger club would have been better!

will it ever happen
That's the name of the game - our small club needs money although it is well run so hopeful there's no issue there!

I was dissapointed with the overall draw to be honest, thought it was very dull.

Agree Deeno; wanted Harigate Railyway to win yesterday too. Do you think we have a chance against Posh? We should win it!

Always a hard one mate!
Deeno
We have lost to MK Dons, Barnet and Shrewsbury in the last two seasons....
