'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jacko Commits!

Johnnie Jackson has signed a new and extended contract comitting himself to Colchester.

Jackson signed for the U's from Tottenham in the summer of 2006, with his original contract due to expire in the summer.

U's Chief Executive Marie Partner told the Colchester official website:

'We are delighted that Johnnie has agreed to sign his new contract and we hope he is the first of many,'

'As in previous seasons, we are keen to make best efforts to keep the current squad together and we are working hard to do this in the coming weeks.'
