Colchester Home in on Fox

Colchester United have had a firm bid for defender Daniel Fox accepted by Walsall this morning.

In his bid to address his teams lacklustre defending manager Geriant Williams has already captured Chris Coyne and Phil Ifil on Thursday.

Marie Partner (Chief Executive) said'To confirm reports elsewhere, we have had a firm bid accepted on Saturday morning by Walsall for Daniel Fox'.

'Further discussions will now take place after official permission by Walsall was given to talk to the player.'

Fox joined the Saddlers from Everton in 2005 and has made over 100 appearances.
