'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Villa Visit Elito & Co

Colchester United`s youth team, including former Manchester United target Medy Elito, will entertain the Aston Villa Academy tonight at Layer Road.

U`s manager Geraint Williams will be present at the game and looking at the possibility of promoting the youngsters like Elito in to the first-team fold as they bid to follow in the path of former Colchester legends like Greg Halford and Lomana LuaLua.

"We are not used to playing a big club like Aston Villa on a week-to-week basis. It's a big opportunity for the lads," admits youth coach Mel Jefferies.

Admissions start at 5 and kick-off is 7:00 pm.

Come on the U`s!
