Fox - No to Colchester

Daniel Fox will not be signing for Colchester United, despite drawn out negotiations.

Fox 21 was targeted by Colchester Manager Geriant Williams with Walsll accepting an undisclosed fee.

Despite meeting Geraint and Chairman Robbie Cowling the defender headed back to the Midlands with both Manager and Chairman hopful that Fox would sign.

Fox's reprsentatives contacted the club yesterday to inform them that Fox would not be signing for the club.

'They said that he had been very impressed with the new stadium, the club's plans and the ambition of the chairman.

'However, at this moment in time, it was not a move that he wanted to make.'
