Colchester Capture Hammond
24 year old midfielder Dean Hammond has signed for Colchester from Brighton.
After an earlier bid for the player was turned down and Hammond rejected a new contract at the Withdean Hammond signed for the U's on Thursday.
Although currentley suspended and unavailable for selection this weekend, Hammond will have the chance to train with his new team mates next week, before being available for the game against Burnley.
Hammond has had loan spells at Aldershot and Leyton Orient, but been at Brighton his whole career scoring 26 goals in that time.
