Vernon comes back

Colchester United have signed striker Scott Vernon from Blackpool late on Thursday, bringing back a player who had been on loan at Layer Road in the promotion winning season.

Vernon scored two goals for Blackpool in the Seasider's win at Layer Road earlier in the season, and will be available for selection when the U's take on Sheffield United on Saturday.
