Vital Quotes:

Lambert Looking For Results

The Scotsman said: 'I`d love us to play brilliantly in every game and play good football - but winning is the most important thing.

'I won`t sit here and criticise what happened before because the club escalated into the Championship at a rate of knots.

'But they came back down again and with the manager going, there has been uncertainty.

'It`s my job to get the team winning again.

'The league position surprises me, having seen the players in training.

'But we are where we are in the league and results suggest that, so it`s up to us to turn it around and get them going.'

Teams will win at EP if they play like Col U did and have a ref who is totally inept. If this is how Lambert is going to set you up then I wish you no luck whatsoever. Disgraceful stuff. I believe Jim Gannon has sent the video and photos of the assault on Matty McNeil to the police. You were lucky not to have ended with 9 men. Dirtiest and most cynical side seen at EP in the last 12 months I would say. Perkins apart who DID play football. Oh and your keeper is also absolved from any of the nasty stuff.

Sour grapes? We won! We scored two goals, you scored one! Up the U's!
